Advanced Control now extends its soft starter generation VersiStart II, which was newly introduced in 2006, to the power range from 50 to 75A. Devices of this type are available as of now. Because of its narrow design, 45 mm up to 32A, 52.5 mm up to 45A and 102mm up to 90A, the microcontroller-equipped soft starter is extremely space- and cost-saving.
Advanced Control's soft start systems ensure low-wear and smooth starting of machines and equipment by preventing jerky motions, high mechanical stress as well as unwanted current peaks otherwise occurring. With this new development, the VersiStart II series offers a low-priced alternative to star-delta starters. This intelligent solution not only provides a great variety of functionalities but also enables trouble-free individual programming according to customer's requirements. In addition, application in a √3-connection opens up further potential for cost saving.
