With Advanced Control's new standstill monitor "VersiSafe" you don't need an external speed sensor. The device detects standstill of decelerating motors independently of the rotating direction and releases solenoid interlocks or activates holding brakes. Typical applications include wood working machines, machine tools, and conveyor systems. The new standstill monitor meets Performance Level e in accordance with DIN EN ISO 13849 -1 and Safety Category 4 in accordance with DIN EN 954 -1.
The essential advantage of VersiSafe devices is that danger areas can be re-entered sooner and safer, and that, in addition, proximity switches or speed sensors can be dispensed with. The new VersiSafe eliminates expenditures otherwise incurred as a result of installation and retrofitting.
